On Saturday, February 17, 2018, the students enrolled in The New Black Era program at Inglewood ICEF Middle Charter Academy were treated to a viewing of Marvels' Black Panther on opening weekend!
Hosted by The Kool Kid Store at the Cinemark 18 Howard Hughes in Los Angeles, California, the students and chaperones were greeted by community members, media, members of fraternities and sororities, donors and other students.
Initially, Lee Smith (@LeAndrew11) donated 10 tickets to The New Black Era. We were then able to raise enough funds to not only cover an additional 15 tickets however enough to cover the rental of a 15 passenger van and concession costs.
Black Enterprise Digital, We Buy Black and Bossip were in attendance and covered the event! Our students received a VIP experience.
